Qingdao, October 11, 2018 – At the invitation of the National Development and Reform Committee (NDRC), CAS Chairman Jiao Baojun attended the 9th NDRC-Airbus Aviation and Aerospace Cooperation and Development Summit in Qing Dao.
The Aviation and Aerospace Cooperation and Development Summit is a high-level meeting held annually by NDRC to enhance cooperation with Airbus. The summit this year is themed as “New Era, New Development, New Cooperation”. It was attended by Airbus CEO Tom Enders, president of Airbus Commercial Aircraft Guillaume Faury and over 100 people from Civil Aviation Administration of China, AVIC, COMAC and the government, etc.
The next decades was regarded as the “diamond decade” for China’s general aviation by the attendees. This summit will play a significant role in the future cooperation between China and Airbus in aviation industry.
