On October 18 1980, China Aviation Supplies Company (CASC) was formally founded.

In 1982, CASC placed the first order of B737-200 and B747-200, which opened the gate for Boeing jetliners to Chinese airlines.

In 1983, CASC placed the first order of MD-82 and introduced McDonald Douglas to Chinese airlines.

In December 1984, CASC, along with other organizations, held the 1st International Aviation Exhibition in Beijing.

In 1985, CASC placed an order with Air Bus for 3 A310-200, which was the first introduction of Air Bus by CASC.

In 1985, CASC ordered 10 BAE146, which was the first introduction of BAE aircraft by CASC.

In May 1990, CASC signed a purchase contract with Boeing Company for total 72 Boeing series jetliners.

In 1992, CASC ordered 10 Fokker-100 for China Eastern Airlines, which was the first introduction of Fokker airliners by CASC.

On December 1st 1994, CASC/Boeing Parts Service Center entered into service in Beijing, which becomes the largest and most comprehensive aviation parts inventory of China.

On March 18 1996, CASC was reconstructed as China Aviation Supplies Import & Export Corporation, still referred to as CASC, with approval of Commerce Department of China.

On April 11 1996, CASC signed a contract with Air Bus for overall 30 A320-200 and 3 additional A340 for China Eastern Airlines. Chinese Premier Li Peng hosted the signing ceremony. Click to view photo

On November 20 1996, CASC/CFMI Parts Service Center began to operate.

On March 25 1997, CASC signed a contract with Boeing Company for 5 B777-200. Chinese Premier Li Peng and US vise president Gore attended the signing ceremony. Click to view photo

On May 15 1997, CASC signed a contract with Air Bus for overall 30 A320/A321 jetliners. Chinese President Jiang Zeming and French President Chirac attended the signing ceremory. Click to view photo

On May 17 1997, French President Chirac, along with Chinese vice Premier Wu Bangguo, cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony of Beijing Huaou Aviation Training and SupportCenter, co-founded by CASC and Air Bus, and paid a visit to the center. Click to view photo

On October 30 1997, CASC signed a framework contract with Boeing for total 50 Boeing airliners. The Director of Nation Planning Committee Zeng Peiyan and US Secretary of Commerce William Daley attended the signing ceremony.

On June 29 1998, CASC signed a firm order for total 20 Boeing jetliners and an order intention for another 10 B737-700/800 jetliners.The vice Premier of State Council Wu Yi and Secretary of Commerce of US William Daley attended the signing ceremony.

On April 16 1999, CASC signed an order with Bombardier Canadian for 3 Dash 8-400 commuters.

On February 16 2001, CASC placed an order with Bombardier Canadian for 6 CRJ-200 regional jets.

On October 2 2001, CASC signed an overall contract with Boeing Company for total 30 B737 airliners.

On October 11 2002, China Aviation Supplies Import & Export Group Corporation (CASC Group) was formally founded on the basis of CASC. CASC Group, along with other five aviation group corporations of China, hosted the opening ceremony in the People¡¯s Hall of Congress in Beijing.

On December 31 2002, CASC Group signed the contract with Aviation Safety and Technology Center of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for the reconstruction of Beijing Kailan Aviation Technology Co. Ltd.

On April 25 2003, CASC Group signed a framework contract with Air Bus for 30 A330/A320 jetliners in People Hall of Congress in Beijing. µã»÷²é¿´Í¼Æ¬

In June 2003, International Tender Co. Ltd. of CASC Group was formally founded.

On August 1st 2003, Aviation Leasing Co. Ltd. of CASC Group was founded, which is the first aviation orientated leasing corporation in China.

On November 12 2003, CASC Group signed a framework contract with Boeing for overall 30 B737 jetliners in the US Department of Commerce.

On April 8 2004, CASC Group, along with China Southern Airlines, signed a framework contract with Airbus for A320 series jetliner in Beijing.

On June 11 2004, CASC Group signed a framework contract with Airbus for overall 20 A330-300 jetliners in France.
