In Tianzhu Industry Zone by the west of BeijingCapitalInternationalAirport, there is a modern plaza of Europe style, where Huaou Aviation Training/Support Center is located. HuaouAviationTrainingCenter (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was jointly founded by Airbus and CASC in 1996 with total investment of 70 million dollars. With two level D simulators, one for A320 and another for A330/340, the Center can meet the training requirement for aircrew and mechanics of A320/330/340. By now, the Center has offered various type of training for over 6,000 crewmembers and 1,400 mechanics from Asia, Europe and North American. The Center is the third training facility of Airbus after ToulouseTrainingCenter in France and MiamiTrainingCenter in US. The purpose of the Center is to best serve the Asia-Pacific region, especially China, with high quality customized training and support service for local airlines. By reducing the training cost and improving after-sales service and response, the Center has played a very active role in the safe, normal and profitable operation of air carriers who operates Airbus airliners. Besides the service and support itself, the establishment of the Center has also introduced advanced training technique and management experience of Airbus, and fostered an excellent team of instructors and management with expertise on Airbus training technique, which actually helps Chinese keep up with the training standard of the aviation giants. As one of four global parts supply centres of Airbus, HuaouAviationSupportCenter consists of office complex, an avionic maintenance station and a bonded warehouse with current inventory of about 25,000 items.The office complex is primarily to provide office facility service for partners and customers of Airbus. The avionic station can provide avionic testing and maintenance service for operators of Airbus airliners. Through years of efforts, HuaouAviationTrainingCenter and HuaouAviationSupportCenter have established stable and cooperative relationship with CAAC and Chinese air carriers. In the coming future, Huaou Aviation Training/Support Center will continue to fulfil its commitment of customer satisfaction and safety enhancement, and make it contribution to airlines and civil aviation industries of China by providing better training and support services.
