In order to effectively promote the transformation and development of CAS business and improve employees’ comprehensive capability, CAS held the first business English training on aviation. The class was officially opened on July 10. Following an assessment, 16 selected staff attended the training.

During the opening ceremony, CAS President Li Hai delivered an important speech. He pointed out that CAS is a trading company. Therefore, it requires a number of business personnel who are proficient in aviation business English. The training held is to meet the demand of CAS future development strategy and long-term development. It is conducive to strengthening talent team building. He hoped that the participants could cherish the opportunity, devote themselves to the study in an active, serious and responsible attitude, work hard to master professional English, and benefit from the courses.

The training was organized by the Human Resource Department of CAS. The courses were jointly developed by Huapu Aviation Engine Training Center and New Oriental Education & Technology Group. It targets at selected business and management personnel. The trainees were divided into different levels of class according to their assessment results. The current class is for the middle-level participants with 56 hours lessons and will last for 4 months. The training includes courses such as Core Business English, Oral English and Practice, Basic introduction of Aero Engines, ACE Management Tool, and so on. It will mainly strengthen common language skills of management and business personnel in socialization, business negotiation, international conferences, etc.
