Beijing, Apr. 1, 2019 – On March 27, the delivery ceremony of 1st leasing Boeing 777-300ER landing gear between CASC and Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Corporation (Ameco) was held in Ameco’s four-position hangar.
This project is a significant achievement of CAS under the leadership of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), to actively build a pooling platform for China’s civil aviation industry. It started in early 2015 and took 3 years to prepare, aiming to support the overhaul and AOG requirements of the landing gears of Boeing 777 fleet across China. CASC has reached cooperation with China Southern Airlines, China Cargo Airlines and Air China, saving at least one set of spare landing gears for the industry.
