On October 16, at the China International General Aviation Convention (CIGAC), China General Aviation Service Co., Ltd (CGAS) announced that its China General Aviation Service Platform completed development and was officially on line.

Adopting the current mainstream Browser/Server architecture, the system supports distributed office. With this mode, no installation or maintenance is required by client. Major domestic and foreign suppliers and general aviation users can make remote access through browsers. Therefore, businesses like procurement, leasing, disposal, logistics, and follow-up maintenance, etc, of aviation supplies can be completed directly.

It is learnt that this is an O2O e-commerce platform, a service provider based on network and e-commerce technology. It can play the advantages of centralized procurement, storage and management to improve the operational efficiency in the support and provision of aviation supplies in general aviation. It can also provide general aviation companies and maintenance enterprises with the most economical and timely support through the big data of the entire industry. It will become a comprehensive support e-platform to provide integrated services, such as support to government departments, cooperation with manufactures, and support to customers, etc.
