CAS Signs a MOU with Aviall

On September 16, China Aviation Supplies Import and Export Cooperation (CASC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Aviall, an American company, in Beijing on solutions to the support and provision of aviation supplies for Chinese airlines. The MOU was signed by CASC President Tan Kejian and Aviall (Northeast Asia) Managing Director David Chan.

CAS President Li Hai, Vice President Sun Bo, CASC Senior Vice President Feng Chunyan, Boeing Senior Vice President of Commercial Aviation Services Stan Deal, Senior Vice President of Northeast Asia Sales Ihssane Mounir and Aviall China Chief Representative Shan Yun attended the signing ceremony upon invitation.

The two sides will carry out specific cooperation on package purchase and consignment of consumable parts, inventory management, and aerochemicals, etc, and continuously expanded cooperation fields. In addition, the two sides will establish regular, long-term high-level communication mechanisms, and set up teams to promote the development and implementation of various cooperation projects.

The MOU is a result of strengthening and expanding the cooperation stipulated in the previous MOU signed in January 2015 between CAS and Boeing. The two sides will work together to optimize solutions to the support and provision of aviation supplies, in order to further increase support efficiency, reduce operational costs, improve level of operation safety and promote the sound development of civil aviation industry. At the same time, it will play a positive and important role for CAS in the building of the pooling platform for aviation supplies.

CASC will continue to carry out in-depth cooperation with other parties, provide Chinese airlines with quality comprehensive and package solutions to services and support, and make unremitting efforts and contributions to building China into a strong country in civil aviation.
