On October 13, CAS and Boeing jointly held an academic forum on Chinese emerging and low-cost airlines in Fuzhou. Boeing Senior Vice President of Northeast Asia Sales Ihssane Mounir, CAS President & CEO Li Hai, leaders of relevant Chinese airlines and major business personnel attended the meeting.

Li Hai pointed out in his opening speech that, with the steady and rapid development of Chinese civil aviation over the past decade, low-cost airlines have sprung up and joined its development. In recent years, with the gradual increasing of aircraft numbers and expanding of airline fleet, safe operation has been the eternal theme on airline development. CAS will provide airlines with comprehensive support services of the whole industrial chain, including purchase of aircraft, leasing of aircraft and engine, support of aviation supplies, and aviation MRO service, etc. CAS will work together with all parties to make positive efforts and contributions to the better and faster development of Chinese civil aviation and to building China into a strong country in civil aviation.
